Sometimes you just need to change things up and update your home decor. A popular room to focus on will always be the living room. Whether you want to redo your whole living room with a brand new design theme or are looking to incorporate some of your current decor with some new pieces in a restyle design , a e-design vision board helps bring it all together. For this Shop the Look room, I focused on an earthy color palette, pairing tones like sage green, rust orange, emerald green with neutral beige and cream tones.

I loved curating these pieces together for this vision board as part of a Restyle design. I was able to find a lot of the pieces from Joss & Main, which never fails in providing a wide array of home decor to shop from. Some of my other favorite places to source from were also used here: Horchow for the lighting and One Kings Lane for the unique beautiful sage green chair. Shop all the items below to recreate a look like this in your own home. All items are linked in each category, with a few alternate items for some, due to sell through from the original pieces featured.

PILLOWS:

I love mixing different prints and textures together with decorative pillows. All of these are perfect for this time of year, especially the plush velvet ones! All of these styles are handmade from different Etsy stores.

SEATING:

This green sage chair is my favorite new find! If you are looking to update your furniture for something bold, a chair is a good way to go vs. a larger more expensive piece like a sofa, in case you get tired of it later on. Also, easier to mix a chair around with different styles or different rooms in your home.

TABLES:

I opted for somewhat contemporary table styles for this look, not too modern, not typical traditional pieces, but those styles could also work here, don’t feel like you have to have the same style of furniture for every piece. I like to pick pieces that coordinate together, like pairing this gold accented side table with a console table with gold hardware like one of the ones shown above.

ART:

One of my favorite things about creating a look for a room is incorporating art into it. Susan Abell is an artist who creates landscape paintings in an impressionism style like the one above. This room was actually spurred from seeing this one painting, which is a great way to formulate a plan for a room design.

RUGS:

While I love bold patterned rugs, I went with neutral patterned one for this look to balance out the bold colors carried out in the pillows and decor. You can never go wrong with a rug like this.

LIGHTING:

Oh, how lighting can transform a room. In keeping with the gold accents I used, I really liked the look of the mercury glass lamp — it’s not too much gold because it is glass, and has a unique look to it to stand out. The light fixture is an open gold metal structure so it will be eye-catching, but not over the top for this sophisticated elegant living room.

HOME DECOR ACCESSORIES:

Just a few decor accessories that work for this room. Adding the heron statues helps in bringing more of a natural feel to the space, and you always need some greenery in a space, whether real or fake, so the bay leafs work well here.
