There is so much time spent decorating and prepping the home for Christmas. And then once it comes and goes, it may seem that all festivities are over. But let us not forget about New Year’s Eve! I like the idea of a shimmery gold and silver table style for any kind of holiday gathering, but it especially works for New Year’s Eve. And who doesn’t enjoy a good reason to dress up in a fun sparkly outfit to match their party?

The look below is fancy and full of glitz and glam to ring in the New Year in style. Plus, I made use of my Christmas ornaments still on display to easily create this look. I show it displayed with a dinner table setting, but it would easily transition as a serving table centerpiece, on a buffet table, or mantel for a casual holiday party without sans dinner. New Year’s Eve or just a general holiday party is a good excuse to have that festive get-together at your home as you could just focus on drinks, cocktails, desserts or tapas. Plus you don’t have to feel stressed with serving dinner.

For a party without a dinner, you can still make use of all the elements shown, such as the plates and silverware and just have them stacked up on a table for guests to serve themselves with appetizers or desserts.

I created the centerpiece with a combination of gold branches, assortment of mixed metal ornaments, LED string lights, and pillar candles. I started by spreading out the gold branches I have. I got mine last year from Michaels, but any glittery or metallic branches would work. Then I placed the candles around the branches, followed by the ornaments, a new of which were large clear ones that I filled with a strand of LED lights . I added another strand of LED lights to mix in with the branches as well.
