light greens

Soft, calming, and subtly green, opting for a light or pale green can work wonderfully for a space. You can also find light colors that are equally bright and uplifting, which is great for a space you are looking to evoke some energy into. Going for a color with yellow undertones will create a warmer look for a space and pair well with warm neutrals like browns and beige. MESQUITE by Benjamin Moore is a great favored pick for a light green with yellow undertone color.

Dusty sages and minty light greens, like OYSTER BAY by Sherwin-Williams, are perfect choices for areas within the home that you want to feel a sense of calm. It can give a fresh look to space, making it a fitting choice for a place like a laundry room. Some other great options are OCTOBER MIST or SAYBROOK SAGE both by Benjamin Moore.

vibrant greens

For a bolder statement-making look, go for a vibrant shade of green. If you want to energize a room, opt for a warmer green color with yellow undertones. It can add some interest to a room that is still sophisticated and classic.

And for a lighter warmer take on the light green color, the look below shows how brilliant yellow green can really energize a space.

Benjamin Moore’s SHADES OF SPRING is the displayed green color that adds great warm vibrant green color, and when paired with dark grays can look classic and modern.

deep greens

For a bolder look, a deep green color is a perfect choice to brighten up a space in a more statement-making way. Going for a blue green paint color is a great way to make that statement, while still looking classic and calming. One color I love is Farrow & Ball’s GREEN SMOKE. When it is paired with white and cream furniture and accent pieces, you really can get a bold look that is equally sophisticated and balanced.

And for an earthier vibe, try deeper greens inspired by nature, like a richer more olive tone green like BANCHA by Farrow & Ball or similar color GUACAMOLE by Benjamin Moore. And for a more muted forest shade of green, VINTAGE VOGUE by Benjamin Moore is a great classic color choice.

Farrow & Ball’s CALKE GREEN is one of the most popular paint colors for a deep vibrant sage green color that adds warmth and interest in a brilliantly hued green tone.

green grays

For a more subtle look, opting for a green gray color, like Farrow & Ball’s PIGEON, is a perfect choice. It pairs well with warmer neutrals and creates a calming vibe for the space it is utilized.

And for a warmer green gray with a bit of yellow undertones, Sherwin-Williams’s CLARY SAGE is a great option.

blue greens

What would make a green color even more beneficial to the home? Pairing it with blue. The combination of blue, a color known for providing calm and relaxation, with green, gives a range of blue green shades that are tried and true timeless colors for the home. For the most tranquil vibe, a pale blue green color will provide a room with a sense of calm. A space like a bathroom or bedroom are ideal places for a pale version of blue green. But you don’t have to just settle for soft shades of blue greens — there are a lot of really great deep and moody blue greens that can give a room color, interest, and still be relaxing. The darker you go, the more drama you can add to a space. And with a color like Farrow & Ball’s GREEN BLUE , boldness is done in the best way possible.

For a lighter blue green color, Benjamin Moore’s CATALINA BLUE can give a space quite the striking and inviting look.

And Benjamin Moore’s RAINDANCE is similar with a bit more depth to it.
