Set Your Table For Spring

With the arrival of spring comes seasonal celebrations worthy of a stylish table setting. Easter is probably the most popular occasion to dress your table up for a spring-worthy celebration with family and friends. But there are also many other to take advantage of, like Mother’s Day or even a spring birthday. I’m sharing some of my favorite ways to create a stylish table setting for whatever your occasion that are all easy to create for your own table.

I love light greens for spring paired with light blues and chambray. This look is a great classic elegant table setting that shows one way to add color to a table — through colored napkins or colored plates. In this case, I love pairing green napkins with green stainless steel salad plates. It’s a great option for infusing color on a budget, as you can add green plates like these that you can find in SALAD PLATE size or SANDWICH PLATE size and add to any solid white dinner plates you may already have. You could opt to choose a real flower arrangement or go for a faux option. I love this FAUX HYACINTH ARRANGEMENT that looks real and adds a natural look to the table. Creating your own faux arrangement is another way to go. I like these FAUX WILDFLOWER STEMS that you allow you to purchase as many as you need and display in simple ceramic vases like these 6 INCH CERAMIC VASES.

If you prefer a more neutral table look, this is a great way to infuse a touch of spring to give your table a fresh new look. You can never go wrong with a neutral table runner like this STRIPED TABLE RUNNER, as you can really use it year round. White flowers can add a lot to a table — for a fresh real flower option, this TULIP ARRANGEMENT is a classic look for spring. For a faux option, this FAUX DOGWOOD ARRANGEMENT is a smaller, more simplified look or create your own with faux flower stems like these lovely CHERRY BLOSSOM STEMS. I love stoneware dinnerware for a modern look that can easily be used as everyday dinnerware, as well. This 16 PIECE STONEWARE SET is one of my top picks, as it adds a little bit extra with the carved edges.

And because pale blues are so great this time of year, here’s another table setting that shows how to work light, dusty blue shades into a beautiful table look. I love this PALE BLUE TASSELED TABLE RUNNER paired with this TABLECLOTH in the perfect shade of blue. You can dress up the dinnerware quite easily with scalloped edge plates like these white SCALLOP DINNER PLATES . And while I show the look above with solid cloth napkins, I feature this beautiful BLUE BLOCK PRINTED CLOTH NAPKIN SET below is another option if you really want to elevate the look and add more interest. And I love these GLASS TAPER CANDLE HOLDERS to give a modern and elegant look to the table.
