I previously did a post on SCONCES FOR THE BEDROOM where I covered some of my top picks for both hardwired and plug-in wall sconces. But because sconces are so superb in the home, and certainly suited for places beyond just the bedroom, another expansive post on these versatile light fixtures was in need.

I’m sharing my top picks here for hardwired styles, sorted by color, which is really helpful if you know what color of metal or material you are looking for to add to your home, just not sure what style. And I am sharing my top picks for plug-in sconces here.

Adding hardwired sconces within the home can be quite beneficial as there are certain wall spots within the home that could benefit from wall lighting even if you have great overhead lighting.
