Liven Design was founded by Amy Abell, a professional interior stager and decorator. With a passion for design and a desire to help people define their own style within their home, she founded Liven Design.
Amy is a graduate of the University of Georgia where she earned a degree in fashion merchandising. Her academic training in color, design principles, and fashion has provided her with the foundation to her design process. Through her extensive background in fashion merchandising and retail management, she has thrived in creating visual store displays and layouts, as well as individual styling. Taking that same passion for styling, she transitioned to creating styles for interiors. Amy completed her training in interior staging through the Home Staging Resource, where she earned her certification as an interior stager and redesigner.
Whether it is helping a client stage their home to sell, offering creative solutions for a redesign project, or providing full design decorating services, Amy works with each client to understand his or her goals so the end result can truly be something worth living in.
Amy loves to focus on the individual decor elements and the juxtaposition of styles for a space, with an appreciation for mixing vintage, traditional, modern, organic, & contemporary style components into one unique look for a space. Inspired by fashion, art, color, textures, and historical eras, she believes in curating a room rather than just filling it.
