Get the Look: Botanical Bedroom in a Traditional Modern Style
When it comes to a bedroom, relaxation is a given. You want to feel comfortable and able to unwind. But that doesn’t mean you have to forgo style and sophistication in the process.
I created this look that perfectly balances the two — relaxation and refined elegance. It is both down to earth and chic; traditional while also a bit modern.
I call it a Botanical Bedroom look because botanical art was the inspiration for it. I love the idea of mixing vintage nature art prints with a bit of modern style, which is the case here. Incorporating natural wovens like the jute rug and faux bamboo dresser chest helped really bring a more natural sense to this room. I did a full 3d rendered room look below with sage green walls for further inspiration. Sage green and navy are a perfect color combo. I’ve shown you below how just adding in navy with a few pieces can really add the right amount of boldness you need without being over the top.
