Get the Look: Modern Spanish
What’s your design style? If you’re like me, you may find that to be a loaded question. I appreciate all types of design and enjoy merging multiple elements of various styles together with the end result being a unique, curated one of a kind space. That’s what inspired this Spanish Modern home decor look — my take on a Spanish look for the home with a modern twist. Starting out with modern, structured large-scale pieces for a living room like the sofa and coffee table, you are able to add in some interest with some other style elements, in this case of the Spanish persuasion, to create an overall interesting and unique space.
And since the idea was not a full on Spanish room, the color was added in subtly — beautiful beach artwork and blue glass decorative beads, a nod to the vibrant blues & turquoise hues that Spanish decor is known for, a patterned pillow for a small dose of red, and a vintage style area rug to tie the entire space together that adds great interest and style to the space with its faded earth toned pattern.
