Decorating with the color Coral
Coral is having a moment right now in home decor! That is thanks in part to “Living Coral” being Pantone’s Color of the Year. It is a fresh new color that works if you aren’t into pink, but are a bit timid to decorate with orange (because who isn’t?). It also has become a standout color in home decor because of its capability to bring about optimism in a space. I discovered I too was falling for this color and rounded up some of my top coral items for the home below:
Wallpaper: There are a lot of options out there, but this is one of my fave coral ones by Hygge & West. I also have added additional options from them below.
Coral Reef Sculpture - Sure, you can find the ever popular white faux coral sculpture at any major decor store, but for a twist, this is a great alternative by Ballard Designs. While this is a bit more pink than true coral color, it is still worth mentioning. It would also pair nicely with bold or navy blue accents.
Decorative Pillows - The top pillow is one of my favorite pillow prints currently. This particular one is a handmade pillow cover on Etsy by Indigo Bliss Boutique. It’s modern, traditional, bold all in one! And because I can’t pick just one, I added a few more options. All images are linked to product.
Decorative Jars & Vases - You don’t have to go big with this coral trend to make an impact. A beautiful piece like one of these ginger jars or vases is enough to standout in a space!
Fabric - While there are so many options, these are some of my fave coral fabric options currently.
Whether big or small, coral can definitely uplift a space. And to further the inspiration, here’s some overall room looks making a big splash with coral:
