Savvy Storage Solutions for the Home

How frustrating it is to feel like you have no space in your home. That usually leads to the inevitable clutter that piles up, and if you are like me, that clutter can suck all the good energy out of the space. But fear not. Below are some of the best storage solutions for various rooms of a home, all that are just as stylish as they are clever in concealing items and giving you more space.

  1. Storage Bench - What I love about this bench is that it would work in multiple design styles and also great no matter the size of the home. If you have a small entry way and only have room for one piece of furniture, this is a good option. While most storage benches only have an open shelf for storage, this one utilizes an open shelf and two drawers. The storage baskets and drawers allow for proper organization of entry way items (shoes, hats, dog leash, you name it) and tuck them all away so it will never be a cluttered sight to see when your guests come over. Plus, the obvious benefit of it being a seating bench makes this an overall versatile piece for an entry way.

2. Storage Cube - No excuse for stacks of magazines or books anymore. This great piece can help store away books, magazines, toys, etc. by easily lifting of the lid. Add another cube and you can pair the two side by side in front of a fireplace for additional seating. I also love how tailored it looks with the wood legs and upholstered fabric. And not to mention, reasonably priced!

I like this solid neutral one to accompany any style and decor.

3. Storage Chest - This is just a great piece of furniture on its own. But then you learn the top lifts open for storage, and it’s even more impressive. You could use this in various rooms as it could serve as a console table, end of bed bench, entry way table, coffee table. It is quite roomy inside to make it ideal for extra throw pillows, blankets, toys and games.

4. Drum Coffee Table - This is such an unique drum style coffee table and the best part is the spacious storage inside once the top is lifted off. This would be great for a small space that needs to make the most of each furniture piece as it can serve as both the coffee table and a storage solution for living room accessories.

5. Storage Stool - This is a great stool that could be used in a bathroom for seating and storing towels or other items that tend to clutter up a bathroom counter. A few other options are using it on a patio or for storing pet items. It won’t take up a lot of space and the wicker basket is deep enough for tall items you want to tuck away.

6. Small Woven Box - I love using a box like this for storing small items away such as products in a bathroom, keys by the front door, mail. This whitewash woven one is such a lovely one to display on its own. It is such an easy way to tackle small clutter in any room of a house!
