Fab Finds for the Bedroom
Sleep is always in style. And having a great bedroom to relax in at the end of the day will help make sleeping so much easier. These are some of my latest fab finds for the bedroom (that actually all could work together, although that was not even the plan!), and speak to some of the latest trends in home decor:
Seascape paintings like this one by Susan Abell are great for the bedroom because of the blue tones used that help create a relaxing mood in a space.
A small tray or decorative bowl like this from Room & Board is great on a bedside table to keep jewelry & loose change all together and keep your bedside table tidy. Plus, this is just pretty to look at, with or without anything on it!
I’m not sure what I love more about this nightstand — is it the unexpected color choice of blue or the fact that it is crafted from raffia? Both are equally cool. And raffia is trending a lot in furniture in home decor. It will definitely bring a relaxed, natural vibe to a bedroom.
Candles are always key component to creating a relaxing bedroom. I like ones that are not only great to smell, but also display beautifully, like this one so it ends up looking like a piece of pottery and not just a candle. This one is actually crafted from ceramic to look like coral — and you can still keep it long after the candle burns. The natural look overall is ideal for any bedroom. Plus, it is infused with essential oils and coconut and soy wax, which is a winning combination for candles.
Botanical prints are IN now for home decor items, and I like this pillow cover because it is a botanical printed pattern, but done so in a way that looks a bit modern and contemporary, and could really work in so many different bedroom schemes.
What an unexpected lamp! While it would certainly fit a rustic, bohemian vibe perfectly, it also could compliment modern,traditional, and contemporary bedroom styles and add a nice natural element to a space.
A great throw blanket for a bed is one that is large enough, lightweight, & a soft fabric. And that is just the case with this blanket. I also like the neutral tone — would pair nicely with every bedding color scheme.
For a different look for a bedroom dresser or vanity, a unique mirror like this one is a fun alternative. The gold finish adds an elegant touch and the sunburst style is unique, artsy, modern — very versatile for various decor styles.
