Sometimes it can seem like a costly effort to tackle the pantry closet organization project, but I’ve found an array of items that will work with every budget. I like to use a variety of storage bins, baskets, and jars to easily distinguish types of items within the pantry and group those accordingly.

Whether you have a large walk-in pantry space or a small space, you can make use of these storage ideas whatever your situation. And if you have no pantry (or are in need of some more space), creating a pantry space can be achieved by devoting some cabinet space in the kitchen to your pantry area that can house a certain collection of items, such as flours and sugars for baking. A lot of the time the struggle with organizing a space is knowing where to start, and that can be exceptionally challenging in an already overfilled space for a small pantry. So deciding if you can devote more space to adjacent cabinets next to the pantry space will help add the extra space you are in need of.

  • I really like these GLASS STORAGE CONTAINERS WITH BAMBOO LIDS for organizing the pantry because they are great space savers and allow you to see when you run low on certain items. The glass container and bamboo lid is great at sealing out air and keeping contents fresh — perfect for items that you keep in stock longer like grains, beans, and pastas . I’ve linked a couple of versions below to show you can find products based on your needs, such a full assortment set of containers, or a group of 3 tall containers, or even individually.

  • These CEREAL DISPENSERS are great if you want to easily distinguish everyday foods from ingredients in your pantry.

  • And, going along with everyday food items, this 5-PIECE CONTAINER SET would look great alongside the cereal containers, as they are both white, and can store other food items you keep in stock on the regular, like crackers, pretzels, nuts, dried fruits, etc.

  • Keeping flour and sugar in these GALLON GLASS JARS is great for making them easily identifiable in the pantry and each jar is large enough to be able to leave a measuring cup (I like this STAINLESS STEEL MEASURING CUP) in the jar, making it easy to scoop out the measurable amount when cooking and baking.

  • These STACKABLE METAL BINS are perfect for maximizing space , especially if you have a small pantry space to work with. I’d use these for perishable items like potatoes and onions, but they could work for any food or product!

  • Making use of baskets like these WOVEN STORAGE BASKETS is great for items that you don’t want to take out of the package and want to minimize the clutter.

  • For heavier items, like sauces and condiments for instance, these WHITE METAL STORAGE BASKETS are strong enough to hold the weight and allow for ease of finding what you want with the open design.

  • Making use of a small glass jar like this SMALL CANISTER is great for coffee, loose tea, and any other items you use on a regular basis. I like to group these types of items together and next to spices, sauces.

  • Consider utilizing any large jar for clips like these LARGE STAINLESS STEEL CHIP CLIPS so you can easily keep newly opened bagged items neatly closed.
