Gold Antique Style Mirrors for the Home

I’ve always loved a beautiful gold mirror for adding some style and elegance to a room. My grandmother had a beautiful vintage one with matching gold sconces that I was always in love with. And when she downsized from her home, the time had come for the prized mirror and sconces to find their way to me, and I couldn’t be happier — and I have yet to run out of new ways to style it.
It also makes me happy to see more popularity as of late with gilded mirrors being used for decorating the home. No longer is it just seen as traditional, old, or strictly for formal home decor styles, but you can add an ornate gold antique mirror to various styles, and even in areas you may have never considered — Who wouldn’t want a bar area like this one below ?
And while it can obviously be very pricey to invest in a true vintage gold mirror, you can find vintage inspired styles equally as beautiful, and I’ve found 12 that I’m really loving. The French gold antique style with ornate scrolls, as seen below, is the most popular look for gold aged mirrors, in my opinion.
