Favorite Fall Home Decor Pieces Always In Style For The Season

It’s finally feeling like fall. And when it comes to the fall season, there are some staple decor pieces that I always look forward to bringing out in the home.

VELVET PILLOWS

Velvet pillows are perfect far beyond just the fall season, but I do love updating a sofa or bed this time of year with a autumn-hued throw pillow. For a quick update, you can find a lot of affordable pillow cover options, like these from H&M priced at $9.99. And if you are looking to invest in some throw pillows to use year round, these are a great option worth considering.

FLORALS & FOLIAGE

I love using natural grasses, faux and dried floral stems and garlands to decorate with in all the golden tones of the season. You can create a beautiful centerpiece by adding a bundle of stems to a vase or add one stem to a vase for a coffee table. You can find so many affordable options that are realistic and will welcome the fall into your home.

A DECORATIVE TRAY

A great tray is always in style for the home. It can help center a look on a tabletop or serve as a way to showcase a display. And for the fall season, there are a lot of ways to use one to decorate with — swap out an existing one for a fresh new rustic wood style for the coffee table, add a trough style tray for creating an autumn inspired centerpiece on a table, or warm up the entryway with a bronze or brass tray.

A COZY THROW BLANKET

One of the best ways to add cozy to the home is with the addition of a plush throw blanket. If you have a neutral decor, you can utilize a colorful throw or plaid patterned throw for a pop of color. This mustard throw is one of my favorite finds this season because the color is so perfect for now. And this boucle throw is perfect for every decor style and affordably priced.

It’s officially fall when the seasonal candles are lit in the home. When I think of scents for the fall, I think of woodsy and spicy scents. I opt for soy-based candles that burn nicely and love to discover new scent combinations of scents I already love. FAUX FUR

Adding faux fur to the home can add that extra luxe look you may be looking for. Not to mention, it is also incredibly cozy. If you only think of faux fur for rustic decor, think again. You can add faux fur rugs to a living room rug for a layered look, add a fur throw to the end of a bed, and add a fur pillow cover to an existing throw pillow for a quick, affordable season swap out.
