A Stately Rustic Retreat Living Room Look
This is the time of year when it’s great to escape to my stately country home in the mountains. To clarify, that is just in my dreams. And if you’re like me, you probably don’t have that retreat to escape to either. But who says you can’t create a relaxing stylish retreat vibe at home? This Get The Look living room look is a perfect blend of sophistication, vintage charm, and cozy cabin lodge feels. It’s a great look to warm up the home during the fall season, as well, exuding an earthiness with the autumn tones.
I love the idea pairing traditional furniture pieces with some rustic accessories and vintage style art. To balance out a look like this, I think it is great to mix textures and materials together, like leather, velvet, and marble shown with this look. In doing so, it takes it from just a rustic cabin look to a sophisticated everyday timeless style.
