I fall for walls…wallpapered walls, that is. It is one trend in interior design that continues to grow in popularity — it is such a great way to express your style in the home and can instantly modernize a dated space.

Gone are the days where wallpaper was basic and boring, and not to mention a long-term commitment (where have you been all my life, Peel and Stick Wallpaper?). I am constantly finding new and interesting wallpaper for the home. No matter what you’re goal is — whether you want to go the simplistic route with a small print or pattern or really want to make a statement with a focal wall and display a vibrant large-scale bold pattern, you can really find just what you want, you can even custom create wallpaper if you so choose! One resource I love to go to for unique one of a kind options is ETSY. With a wide array of online shops selling their own hand-crafted designed wallpaper, you have so many style options to choose from at a range of price points.

Another great option a lot of the shops provide is wallpaper samples to see in person what it would look like on your walls before you commit, which is also helpful in narrowing down colors or styles if you’re indecisive. And as I mentioned above, the option of having peel and stick wallpaper versus standard pasting is appealing depending on your circumstance — if you are renting or are concerned if you will still like your selection in the future, peel and stick may be a great option for you. It also is very forgiving with most being repositionable in case you find you have applied a piece crooked. But if you plan to wallpaper a space for the long-term and want to commit, a traditional pasting adhesive may be better for you.
